There is a sign in my studio which reads,

"WHEN YOU ENTER THIS STUDIO CAN'T DOESN'T FOLLOW"

...and this has been proven true time after time. Most of the students that I have taught have never painted with oils before and for many this was their first artistic endeaver ever. Every one of the students were amazed with what they had accomplished when they completed their first painting.

There is no magic or secret to their success. You only need a desire to paint in order to succeed. Bob Ross developed this method so that anyone who ever wanted to paint, can paint. He didn't stop there, however. He also set up a training program. First, he personally trained a staff of professional teachers / trainers. Second, these teachers traveled the world to train others to become instructors in this method of oil painting. Third, Today there are hundreds of professionally trained certified Ross landscape, floral, and wildlife instructors throughout the world.
